The ATSU-Truman Healthcare Academy is a five-day-long summer program that allows pre-college students to learn about health professions through hands-on activities and stimulating discussions. Students live in a residence hall on the Truman State University campus under the supervision of resident staff and preceptors and participate in a variety of activities held each day.

Who can participate in the ATSU-Truman Healthcare Academy?
To be considered for admission to this program, students must have completed the 9th, 10th or 11th grade by June of the Healthcare Academy session.

All application materials must be received by April 15, 2024.
2024 Tuition: $975
Includes courses, housing, meals, activities, t-shirt, and related materials
Application Process
Applications for Summer 2024 will open in November 2023.
To apply for the ATSU-Truman Healthcare Academy, students must:
- complete the online application (including essays)
- provide two years worth of transcripts
- provide contact for an educator recommendation
- complete Signature Page and submit all requested materials by the deadline.
